Omine Yoga Has New Classes And New Instructors

We are happy to announce the addition of new classes and new instructors. Starting on June 15, we will be offering Hatha Yoga classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  We envision expanding our schedule even further with more classes and workshops in our beautiful, fully equipped studio.

Jeremy Jenks

Jeremy began studying Hatha yoga in 2004 after 14+ years of training in traditional Japanese karate. He sought yoga as a remedy for his lower back and neck pain and found a practice that has enriched every aspect of his life. Since the beginning, Jeremy has explored different styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Iyengar yoga. Jeremy currently studies with senior Iyengar teachers in the Bay Area and is finishing his 500-hour Advanced Studies/Teacher Training at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco. Jeremy believes in the transformational quality that yoga can have on one’s life and loves to share this with his students.
Patricia Kalman

After taking her first Iyengar yoga class years ago, Patricia discovered there could be hope for her back problem. She began taking classes regularly, restored her back, and developed a regular yoga practice. Many backbends later, she is now a Certified Iyengar yoga teacher. She studies and apprentices with Manouso and Rita Manos. In July of 2013 she had the opportunity to study with the Iyengar family in Pune, India.
Ruchi MurlidharRuchi Murlidhar

Ruchi was exposed to yoga at a young age in India. Over time she has studied various forms of yoga including Iyengar, Bikram and Vinyasa. She apprentices regularly with Elise Miller at California Yoga Center in Mountain View.

Ruchi is training to be an Iyengar Certified Yoga Teacher from the Iyengar Yoga Institute in San Francisco. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) and is working towards her 500 hour certification.

She teaches Hatha yoga and beginner’s yoga poses with a focus on alignment and breathing, with the goal of getting her students comfortable with the practice of yoga. Ruchi is committed to making yoga fun and accessible to everyone.
