A welcoming series to give students an idea of yoga’s many benefits. It is designed to take the new student through the basics which emphasize correct body positioning and alignment to create greater body awareness, strength, flexibility, and increased mindfulness.

Hatha Yoga (Alignment Based) Basics 

New to Yoga? Hatha Yoga Basics will give you an understanding of the standing, sitting, forward extending, inverting and restoring postures of Yoga.Emphasis will be on correct body positioning and alignment to create greater body awareness, strength, exibility and increased mindfulness.

Hatha Yoga (Alignment Based) Mixed Level

Continued emphasis on alignment in beginning and intermediate poses. A rotating schedule throughout the month will include standing, seated, lying down poses, inversions and back bending. Modications will be offered according to student abilities so beginners are always welcome.
